Licensed Practical Nurses
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is the term used to refer to a nurse who cares for “people who are sick, injured, convalescent, or disabled under the direction of physicians and registered nurses.”
Among other tasks, our nurses will:
- Place and manage intravenous catheters (peripheral, midline and PICC)
- Administer medications, catheter site care, patient education, blood specimen collection, etc… including injections
- Wound care
- Monitoring vital signs
- Coordinating a full range of medical care.
- Communicate with the other members of the healthcare team regarding identified care needs and response to therapy.
