How Our HHA Training Program Works
New York Health Care’s home health aide training is a comprehensive program where all our trainees not only get classroom education but also supervised practical training. At the end, there is a complete evaluation part to ensure you are fully prepared and confident in your skills.
Total Duration: A minimum of 75 hours of total education.
Classroom Training: 59 hours of classroom training covering different healthcare topics and communication skills under the guidance of expert instructors.
Practical Training: 16 hours of supervised practical training in a laboratory, patient’s home, or other healthcare setting.
Evaluation: A thorough evaluation of all trainees to ensure their readiness and competency.
