Even if you select your caregiver or opt for NYHC's caregiving staff, you will not have to pass the training hassles. All our caregivers are trained enough to work with you in any situation. We also have a training staff at NYHC, where we provide comprehensive coaching to new caregivers.

Everyone, including individuals having a disability or any chronic illness, has all the right to stay flexible and independent in their schedule. At NYHC, our caregivers are flexible enough to let you dictate your care schedule, ensuring everything goes as per your terms.

How to Qualify
We help you throughout the process of determining your eligibility for the CDPAP program. We explain each step and help you submit paperwork to become eligible for Medicaid, home care, and CDPAP.
Enroll
Once you have selected a Personal Assistant to hire, we meet you both and guide you through the enrollment process. We ensure that your MLTC issues the proper authorization documents for the number of hours approved.
Manage
You manage your own care by training, scheduling, and supervising your Personal Assistant. You decide if you want to change or add Personal Assistants.

We Provide Training For Your Caregiver
You choose your caregiver: your daughter, son, relative, or friend. We give them hands-on training and help them with all paperwork and procedures. You both also get ongoing support and help is available 24/7.
They get paid weekly up to $22.00 per hour
You get the comfort of having a caregiver who knows you, loves you, and understands you, and they get paid weekly up to $22.00 per hour. And it’s all fully covered by Medicaid!
